AGP Shan Gul cites personal reasons for resign
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Punjab Advocate General Muhammad Shan Gul has decided to step down from his post citing domestic reasons.
According to reports, he submitted his resignation to the caretaker chief minister, Mohsin Naqvi, citing personal reasons. He said it was quite challenging for him to continue carrying out his duties. Despite his resignation, Gul will continue to perform his duties until June 26.
Gul was appointed as advocate general by the Punjab government in mid-February. He had previously served as the additional advocate general under the interim government.
