Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif says he doesnt acknowledge Asif Ali Zardari as President.
Expressing his chagrin over the federal government’s refusal to provide him a helicopter to visit a girl raped in Shahkot.During his talk with the media at the victim’s house, Shahbaz said he had made the long journey to rape victim’s house to sympathise with her regarding her tragedy despite a severe backache. He harangued President Zardari for being over-possessive about billions worth of helicopters meant for official use.Referring to the tragic case of gang rape of matriculate student, he strongly condemned the incident and expressed deep regrets over bail granted to the criminals, and said that all efforts would be made to get this bail cancelled and mete exemplary punishment to all involved.Expressing his strong resolve to assure rule of law and the Constitution, he announced forming a committee for transparent enquiry into the incident.The CM also said that he had urged the hapless victim not to be discouraged and continue her studies with vigour, and announced that the Punjab government would fund her future education.He also expressed strong resolve to get the family justice.
