Punjab announces summer vacations for all schools in the province
LAHORE (Web Desk) - The school education secretary announced on Wednesday that summer vacation would begin on June 6 and conclude on Aug 20 in all schools of Punjab.
Earlier, the Sindh Education Department announced two-month long summer vacation from June 1 to July 31.
Punjab Education Secretary Akbar Laghari said the holidays had been announced in line with the decision taken by the steering committee.
He said no decision had been taken to extend the holidays, adding that schedule of summer vacation would be applicable to all public and private schools.
