Dengue death toll has reached 102 as 6 more patients died in Lahore on Tuesday.
According to independent reports, Farooq aged 50 was admitted in the hospital after he was diagnosed with dengue virus. However, he died on Tuesday as his platelets count dropped drstically. Another five people also died of dengue in the city on Tuesday.People mostly women and children are continuously visiting city hospitals while the hospital administration said that it is not possible to satisfy each patient due to overwhelming number of patients.Experts said that the virus might spread fast due to loadshedding that has again started in the city. Therefore, it is critical to control loadshedding in order to get control over the virus spread.Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif chaired the session of dengue emergency meeting where it was decided that strict action would be taken against school administration that will not follow the instructions regarding school uniform.
