Irans interior minister to visit Pakistan

Irans Interior Minister Mustafa Mohammad-Najjar will arrive in Islamabad on Wednesday.

According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua, during Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s visit to Tehran, Iranian government had vowed to send a delegation under the leadership of their Interior Ministry as a follow up of their promises for helping flood affectees in Pakistan.Iran and Pakistan are cooperating with each other in various fields and always look for further strengthening their bilateral relations, she added.The delegation would also discuss the security situation in the region besides follow-up on Iran’s aid shipment.
