Two soldiers lay down lives in line of duty, says ISPR

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Security forces claimed on Wednesday to have killed two terrorists in an operation in Tirah area of Khyber district, whereas two soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom in the exchange of fire. 

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, there was an exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists in Tirah Valley of Khyber district, in which two terrorists were killed. 

The ISPR said two security personnel were martyred fighting bravely in the exchange of fire. They were 26-year-old Waqas Shah and 24-year-old Basit Ali. It said four terrorists were injured in the action of the security forces, while weapons and ammunition were recovered from the custody of the terrorists.

According to the ISPR, the search and elimination of terrorists in the area would continue.
