PM Shehbaz admits flaws in political structure

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says our politics is suffering from structural flaws.
The premier admitted the fact in his tweet on Wednesday. He wrote on his twitter handle: “It has, unfortunately, been reduced to a shorthand for grandstanding & meaningless rhetoric. To me, service delivery alone should govern competition for public office. Politics is an arena where people compete to serve fellow citizens.”
Meanwhile, addressing a meeting on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz said the government had completed one year. There was a general impression that the government would not last long, he added.
He said the government faced many crises and challenges during this one year. "There are differences of opinion. Everyone should listen to dissenting voices. Listening to each other's words is the beauty of democracy," he maintained.
