ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Rain and wind/thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad and Upper/Central Punjab during the next twelve hours.
Heavy falls and hailstorm is also likely in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the forecast period.
Meanwhile, heavy rain has led to land sliding at Upper Kohistan district in Hazara Division of KPK. The Karakoram highway has been completely closed for 22 hours due to the weather condition.
A large number of foreign and local tourists have been stuck in their vehicles because of the road closure.
The administration has not been able to take road maintenance measures yet. The people, who have been bound to their vehicles, demand immediate construction of a temporary bridge to help them through the situation.

Light rain accompanied by wind in different parts of provincial capital Lahore in the wee hours of Wednesday turned the weather pleasant.
Rain broke the spell of extremely hot weather in the city. However, it also caused disruption of electricity in parts of the provincial capital.
