National Assembly approves further amendments to NAB Ordinance 1999

Amendment bill in the Compiled Criminal Code 1908 was also presented
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Assembly on Friday approved the bill for further amendment of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Ordinance 1999.
At the start of the session, a motion was presented to suspend normal proceedings, which was approved.

Following this, the Minister for Law, Azam Nazir Tarar, presented the NAB Ordinance 1999 Amendment Bill 2023 in the Assembly.
The bill proposes several amendments to the existing NAB Ordinance, including the introduction of new rules and regulations.
In addition to the amendment bill in NAB Ordinance 1999, a further amendment bill in the Compiled Criminal Code 1908 was also presented in the National Assembly, which was also approved.
