SC vehemently denies report of clash between two judges
Pakistan
Terms it “false, mischievous, and malicious"
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday denied media reports alleging a scuffle between the apex court judges in Judges’ Colony park.
The denial comes in the wake of an alleged report making rounds on social media that two SC judges, reportedly CJP Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Qazi Faez Isa, fell into a spat during their walk on the evening of April 13.
However, the SC refuted the report in the strongest terms and described it as “false, mischievous, and malicious”.
“The fake reporting about the Judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan is a serious violation of the law and represents an effort by disaffected elements to diminish the dignity of the Court and its Hon’ble members,” the statement issued by the SC reads.
