KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon fired on Tuesday a broadside at former chief justice Saqib Nisar, claiming that the latter had engaged in corruption in the dam fund.

Addressing the Iftar party, Mr Memon claimed, "Saqib Nisar had met people at their houses in Canada and the United States. He committed corruption in the dam funds".

Mr Memon bemoaned the president's decision to return the bill limiting the CJ's power back to parliament, saying, "The president has done illegal and unconstitutional work."

In reference to National Constitution Day, Mr Memon said, "Yesterday was the day of those who consider the constitution sacrosanct in the history of the country. Justice Qazi Faez Isa came there which was an honor".

Mr Memon claimed that the government and the  Sindh governor were on the same page about the provision of free medical services to the masses of the province.

He highlighted the concerns that journalists confront, vowing to provide health insurance to them.
