ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Another special meeting of cabinet will be held today (Tuesday) as the three-member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan announced its verdict in the elections' delay case, Dunya News reported.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will preside over the meeting at Parliament House.
According to sources, overall political situation in the country will come under discussion during the meeting. Sources also informed that the agenda of the meeting would be released later.
Earlier on Monday, PM Shehbaz presided over a special cabinet meeting during which the withdrawal of the services of Supreme Court registrar Ishrat Ali was approved.
The federal cabinet had also approved funds of Rs71 billion under Reko Diq dispute settlement. The funding of the project would be done by the Balochistan government.
Also, Rs 65billion would be arranged under the short-term financial facility for Reco Diq, more than Rs6 billion would be arranged for interest payment. Funds would be arranged for the period from March 31 to Dec 30, 2023.
