Two police officials martyred in Kohat

Police have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers.
KOHAT (Dunya News) – Two police officials, who were on duty outside a mosque, embraced martyrdom when terrorist opened fire in Tapi area of Kohat on Monday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the police officials were deployed for Isha prayers security duty outside Masjid Shuhda Merozai in Tapi area of Kohat, when terrorists opened fire on them.
Both officials sustained severe injuries which resulted in their martyrdom. Following the incident, the police quickly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers.
The martyred police officials were identified as Constable Qasim and Constable Ayaz.
The bodies of the martyred officials had been shifted to KDA Hospital for further investigation. Meanwhile, the police launched an investigation into the matter and are determined to bring the perpetrators to justice.
