RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said all plans to push PTI Chairman Imran Khan against wall would backfire on ruling coalition Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

In a series of tweets, the former interior minister said it would not be a five-finger exercise to disqualify Mr Khan and ban its party. He lamented that Pakistan had isolated international as it was getting IMF bailout package and foreign aid, adding that economic crisis had terribly deepened with rupee hitting the lowest level.

He said the resolution to be presented in the joint session of the parliament would increase the anxiety of the government as it was no more able to face public. Mr Ahmed said the PTI would hold its power show at Minar-e-Pakistan on March 25.

He said it was Supreme Court to decide whether there will be elections or chaos in the country, adding that the national survival linked to elections.
