PTI has got historic votes in Rajanpur.

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) - Awami Muslim League leader and former federal interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad says Maryam Nawaz's ridiculous and childish demands will not work and now the government will have to hold elections.

Taking to Twitter, Sheikh Rashid said the PTI had got historic votes in Rajanpur. The language Bilawal and Maryam were using against the judges showed the fear of the upcoming elections. "They demand a full court on one hand and, on the other, are asking for removal of the two judges," he said.

Mr Ahmad said the chief justice had affirmed that the president could give the date of the election. “The Supreme Court is close to an important decision. The president has expressed no confidence in the Attorney General and has appointed Salman Raja as a lawyer,” he added.

The former minister further said the current government was using slogans of saving money [for the country] and at the same time 85 ministers were enjoying the benefits. He said Rs650 million had been spent by ministers on unnecessary trips and this excluded Bilawal's expenses.
