One killed, one injured in collision of Inhar vehicle with a tree

AHMEDPUR (Dunya News) – The driver of the Inhar department vehicle had died while the canal guard was seriously injured as a result of a collision of the vehicle with a tree while chasing the suspects of sand theft from Panjnad Canal in Tehsil Ahmedpur Sharqia of Bahawalpur district of Punjab on Thursday.
The body of the deceased and the injured was shifted to the hospital in critical condition, sources told Dunya News.

According to the sources, the suspects involved in sand theft were stealing sand from Panjand Canal.
The deceased driver had been identified as Jam Asim and the injured canal guard as Mohammad Abid.
