Sedition complaint filed in FIA against PTI's Ali Amin Gandapur over 'inciting' statements
(Web Desk) – A complaint has been filed in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur for issuing provocative statements against state on social media.
Reports said the complaint had been lodged by citizen in FIA’s Cyber-Crime Wing in Dera Ismail Khan. The complaint has sent a letter to the FIA assistant director, alleging that the former federal minister attempted to incite people against state through rebellious statements against the government.
The complainant urged the authorities to take legal action against the PTI leader over his statements posted on social media.
Last week, PTI leader and former information minister Fawad Chaudhry was booked in a sedition case over inciting people against the officials of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). He is currently in the custody of Islamabad police on physical remand for interrogation in the case.
