Hammad vows to put opponents to test
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Hammad Azhar slammed on Tuesday the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), saying his party will continue to put political opponents to the test.
Speaking to the media, Mr Azhar lambasted Power Minister Khurram Dastgir over the power outage, claiming: "On the order of Khurram Dastgir, the country had to witness power outage."
Fawad launches a broadside at PDM
Earlier, PTI senior leader Fawad Chaudhry fired a broadside at the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
Speaking to media, the former federal minister slammed the PDM-led government, saying that it seemed as if the coalition government had no connection with the country. Underscoring the importance of elections, Mr Chaudhry recalled the demand of transparent polls.
Talking about the matter of the PTI lawmakers’ resignation in the National Assembly, Mr Chaudhry said, "First the resignations of the PTI lawmakers were not accepted, but when talks were made to oust opposition leader Raja Riaz, the resignations of the PTI MNAs were accepted."
Mr Chaudhry schooled Power Minister Khurram Dastgir over the power outage yesterday, saying, "He was busy eating the food, despite the fact that the country was facing the power outage."
Mr Chaudhry also blasted the ECP, Punjab, and KP governors for not giving the election dates.
