Money laundering case: Suleiman Shehbaz appears before FIA
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Suleman Shehbaz, son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on Thursday appeared before the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the money-laundering case.
The prime minister’s son submitted his response in the case after he was handed a questionnaire by the federal agency. A case had been registered against him over benami (anonymous) accounts of the Ramzan Sugar Mills. He did not pursue the case as he was living abroad for many years, but after returning home last month, he had been investigated.
Suleman Shehbaz is on protective bail he got from the Islamabad High Court in the case.
