PDM expected to hold meeting in 24 hours
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The ruling Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leaders’ meeting on the issue of dissolving the Punjab Assembly is likely to be convened within 24 hours.
Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman will meet with the prime minister on Friday (tonight) to discuss the matter. Consultations regarding the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly will take place during the meeting.
Earlier, after consulting with constitutional experts over the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly, Punjab Governor Rehman proposed to the prime minister that elections for the Punjab Assembly could be held on April 12.
