Mirpur: People hit streets as Mangla Dam pours out water

The protesters demanded that water level in Mangla Dam should be brought down.

People of Mirpur came on roads as water from the Mangla Dam started entering their houses.The protesters gathered at Shaeedan Chowk and block the square after burning tires.Some of the protesters did aerial firing and the crowd beat a man who noted the name of the people who did aerial firing.The protesters said that the current water level in Mangla Dam was 1,207.55 feet that is why water was entering the houses.They demanded that the water level in the dam should be brought to 1,202 feet.
