Moonis says contacts resume with Chaudhry Shujaat
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Moonis Ealhi on Saturday said that contacts have been resumed with disgruntled PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, adding that no party’s lawmaker will be involved in in-house change.
Speaking to Dunya News, Mr Moonis said that they have prepared a strategy to counter the ruling alliance’s tactics, adding that Punjab Assembly will be dissolved on the Pakistan Tehreeek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s call.
"We want to be Imran Khan’s allies in the future, but some people don’t want to see the PTI and PML-Q nexus," he said.
The PML-Q leader said that he did not take any action that could harm the deposed premier’s politics, adding that he takes actions after consultation with Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Hussain Elahi.
While answering a question about contacts with Mr Shujaat, Moonis said that contacts have resumed with Chaudhry Shujaat.
