Maryam Nawaz issues apology over tweet on slain Arshad Sharif
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday issued an apology over her Tweet on slain Journalist Arshad Sharif.
Maryam Nawaz on Twitter penned that "My tweet was NOT aimed at mocking someone but about learning our lessons from the past."
She further wrote, "I am undoing the tweet & apologise for the hurt it may have caused to the aggrieved which never was my intention. May no one ever have to go through this pain. Prayers for the bereaved family."

It is pertinent to mention that a day after the gruesome killing of renowned journalist Arshad Sharif, Maryam Nawaz’s tweet has left many bewildered and angry on social media.
In a tweet, Maryam Nawaz retweeted a tweet which, sharing a picture of Arshad Sharif’s dead body, alleged that the anchorperson used to say that PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif sent his mother in a parcel.
Maryam wrote, "…this is a lesson for the mankind that we must all imbibe."
