ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader and former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said on Thursday that for the first time a lasting step has been taken regarding the rule of law in the country and the Supreme Court (SC) has made it clear that the investigating officers in the cases of Shehbaz Sharif and others should not be replaced.

The PTI leader said that the records of cases were also being changed but the apex court issued notices to NAB and FIA as to how and under what law the changes took place.

Fawad Chaudhry further said that the apex court has also ordered to seal the records of the cases and CJP has also warned the judges to conduct their affairs in a transparent manner adding that all these steps will increase the confidence of the people in the judiciary and will also pave the way for rule of law in Pakistan, he added.
