LAHORE (Dunya News) – Vice-president Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz on Monday said that Pakistan was created with the promise of equal rights for all citizens, especially minorities.
Taking it to Twitter, the PML-N leader questioned the federal government that where could the country see the implementation of citizens’ fundamental rights on which Pakistan was formed? She added that under the regime of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf s (PTI) government, nothing is functioning properly.
She mentioned that the killing of Christian priest in Peshawar is heart-breaking and horrible.

Calling the federal government apathetic and heartless, Maryam Nawaz stated that that the government must pay attention to the families of those who die in Peshawar tragedy. Offering her condolences over the of death of Christian priest, she said that the government should stand with the Christian community in this difficult time.
