Governor Punjab meets Chaudhry Shujaat, Pervaiz Elahi
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar on Saturday met Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat and Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
Chaudhry Shafay Hussain and Chaudhry Salik Hussain were also present in the meeting. Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar inquired about the health of Shujaat Hussain.
He said that whether it is legislation of local bodies or seat adjustment of elections, decisions will be taken jointly with the allies.
The Punjab Governor said that Punjab will not witness problems like the local body law in Sindh.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that private universities are being encouraged in the province and new faculties have been created with better quality which are in no way inferior to international universities.
He said students will not have to go abroad for higher education.
