Fawad Hassan Fawad's request to sell his personal shopping plaza rejected

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Significant progress has come to light in the accountability court with reference to the assets beyond means case of former principal secretary to the Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Fawad Hassan Fawad.

According to details, the court rejected the plea of the accused to sell his private shopping plaza. NAB Lahore s case of assets beyond means has been pending since March 2019.

The court rejected the request to sell the valuable plaza. He wanted to sell the plaza for Rs9.25 billion. The petition was filed by the accused in the accountability court in December 2021 last year.

According to the NAB reference, the plaza is said to contain illicit assets. Following the effective follow-up of NAB Lahore, the accountability court restrained the accused from selling the plaza on his own.
