Hindu pilgrims from India will perform religious rites at Katas Raj Temple near Chakwal.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Over 100 Hindu pilgrims have arrived in Pakistan from India to visit the Shree Katas Raj Temple in Punjab on Friday.

The pilgrims arrived in Pakistan through the Wagah border crossing.

Hindu pilgrims from India will perform religious rites at Katas Raj Temple near Chakwal.

The government has completed arrangements for Indian pilgrims  security, stay, and transportation.

The main event will be held on Sunday, December 19. The event will be attended by various political and religious leaders as well as the Hindu community members living in Pakistan.

The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has issued visas to Indian Hindu pilgrims from December 17 to 23, while the Indian Hindu pilgrims will return on December 23 via Wagah border.
