KP asks Federal Govt to cancel new Afghan trade deal

Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa government has asked the federal government to cancel new Afghan trade deal.

In the letter sent to Prime Minster Secretariat, the provincial government said that more than one million people would be jobless because of this agreement which would result in a mass unemployment in the province.It also said that the unemployment would boost the ongoing wave of terrorism as jobless youth could be attracted by the militants.The traders and industrialists were also not taken into confidence while signing the agreement with Kabul government.KPK government demanded the federal government to cancel the agreement and take the provincial government into confidence while make any agreement with Afghan government in future.
