KARACHI (Duyna News) – Two more dengue-infected patients have lost their lives in Karachi on Thursday as the virus outbreak is on the rise due to the provincial government’s negligence, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the death toll from the deadly disease in Karachi has climbed to four during this month.
According to details, 31-year-old Javed, a resident of Landhi, was being treated at Jinnah Hospital but succumbed to the dengue virus whereas 24-year-old Adnan died at a private hospital.
The situation is getting out of control in Karachi, but no steps are being taken by the Sindh government and the civil administration to control the dengue outbreak.
On the other hand, 1,365 patients have been tested positive for dengue fever across Sindh till August this year out of which 1,255 patients were reported from Karachi.
