Hospitals deprived from basic facilities in Quetta including across province

QUETTA (Dunya News) – The government hospitals have been deprived from the basic facilities in Quetta including across the province despite the government claims.

According to the reports, the condition of government hospitals in Quetta has not been changed even in modern era. New buildings have been constructed in the hospitals but the problems of the patients coming for treatment are still same there.

The patients are not being given better quality of treatment in the government hospitals even after waiting several hours in the queues. If a doctor is found by the patients, then the medicine prescribed by him is not found. There are fewer beds for emergency patients, sometimes patients have to wait hours or days to get a bed.

In this year s budget, an approximately Rs56 billion has been allocated for the provision of better medical facilities to the people. The chief minister is in charge of the health department. The provincial government spokesman said that the chief minister is running the department in an efficient manner.

Health experts say that the entire health system is in ruins due to administrative inexperience.
