Four killed as heavy rain lashes Karachi
HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – At least four people have lost their lives in Karachi as torrential rain wreaked havoc on Wednesday night.
According to details, woman and her three children have died as a roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rain in Orangi Town’s MPR Colony.
On the other hand, 141 Hyderabad Electricity Supply Company (HESCO) feeders tripped as downpour lashed the city which created problems for the residents.
However, the authorities restored the power supply in some areas after rain stopped while several localities in the city are still without electricity.
The heavy downpour also brought down temperature considerably but at the same time left several areas inundated. Majority of roads were submerged under rainwater which disrupted the traffic flow.
