At least 141 HESCO feeders trip as heavy rain lashes Hyderabad
Various localities of Hyderabad were plunged into darkness after power supply was disrupted.
HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – Various localities of Hyderabad were plunged into darkness after power supply was disrupted due to heavy rain in the city on Wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
At least 141 Hyderabad Electricity Supply Company (HESCO) feeders were tripped as heavy downpour lashed the city which created problems for the residents.
However, Hyderabad Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) administration has restored the power supply in some areas after rain stopped while several localities in the city are still without electricity.
The heavy downpour also brought down temperature considerably but at the same time left several areas inundated. Majority of roads were submerged under rainwater which disrupted the traffic flow.
