NCOC expands coronavirus restriction to 27 cities
NCOC decided to review the restrictions on September 13.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday announced to expand the coronavirus related restrictions to 27 cities of the country as the fourth wave of the virus maintains its grip over the country.
The NCOC, while considering the situation, expanded the implementation of the SOPs to 27 cities of the country.
As per the forum, all business centers will be closed by 8pm and two safe days will be observed each week.
Restaurants will be allowed to offer outdoor dining until 10pm each day; however, takeaway and delivery services will continue to operate 24/7.
As for wedding functions, indoor weddings will be completely banned, while outdoor wedding events will be allowed with a maximum limit of 300 guests.
NCOC also decided to review the restrictions on September 13.
Also, the 27 cities to observe these measures to curb the pandemic are Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Khanewal, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab, Bahawalpur, Multan, Gujranwala, Rahim Yar Khan, Hyderabad, Abbottabad, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Swat, Gilgit, Swat, Chitral, Haripur, Mansehra, Lower Dir, and Swabi.
