Heavy downpour inundated low-lying areas of Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least three people killed as heavy rain lashed Lahore and other cities of Punjab on Friday.
According to the details garnered, three killed and four others sustained injuries when the wall of a house collapsed in Lahore’s Thokar Niaz Baig. The injured persons have also been shifted to the hospital.
Heavy rain inundated low-lying areas in different cities of Punjab including Lahore. Heavy downpour in different areas inundated roads and streets in the provincial capital of Lahore and residence faced immense difficulties as rainwater entered houses in low lying areas.
Rain water accumulated Thokar Niaz Baig, Sher Shah Colony, Walton, Lakashmi Chowk, Sadr, China Scheme, Chah Miran and Shad Bagh.
The rain also brought a respite from the sweltering heat.
