Police gun down five involved in murder of ANP's Ubaidullah Kasi in a raid

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Police on Saturday gunned down five men involved in the kidnaping and murder of Awami National Party (ANP) Central Committee member Malik Ubaidullah Kasi.

The body of Malik Ubaidullah Kasi, a kidnapped missing leader of the Awami National Party (ANP), was recovered from Balochistan’s Saranan area on Thursday.

Some unidentified armed assailants had abducted the ANP’s Central Committee member on gunpoint from outside his house in Kuchlak’s Kali Keetar area on June 26.

On failing to get ransom, the kidnappers brutally had murdered Ubaidullah Kasi, whose body was recovered from Saranan area of Peshawar.

The law-enforcers after a scientific investigation of the case arrested a kidnapper Juma Gul and later, on his identification, five kidnappers involved in his kidnapping were killed in an operation at Saddar police station in Pishin district.

Huge cache of weapons were also recovered from the possession of the kidnappers.
