Pakistan reports 1,841 coronavirus cases, 32 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan has so far conducted 15,622,535 coronavirus tests.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 32 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,001,875. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 22,971 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,841 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 10,924 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,793 in Sindh, 4,411 in KP, 790 in Islamabad, 609 in Azad Kashmir, 322 in Balochistan, and 122 in GB.

Furthermore 363,101 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 352,153 in Punjab, 141,495 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 85,351 in Islamabad, 29,451 in Balochistan, 22,685 in Azad Kashmir and 7,639 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 15,622,535 coronavirus tests and 37,636 in the last 24 hours. 924,782 patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,551 patients are in critical condition.
