PM Imran terms visit to Samarkand a wonderful experience
Doors of the shrine were especially opened for the Prime Minister and his delegation.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday said that it was a wonderful experience to visit Samarkand, a city in the north-eastern region of Uzbekistan.
Prime Minister, in a tweet while sharing pictures of his trip, said Samarkand was the greatest city in the world at the beginning of the 15th century.
The premier said that he visited the tombs of Amir Taimur and Imam Bokhari in this historic city.
It merits mention that Prime Minister Imran Khan offered Fateha at the Shrine of Hazrat Imam Bukhari (RA) in Samarkand on Friday.
