Quetta: Two killed as railway track blown up

At least two people were killed and two injured in an explosion at railway track near Saryab Road.

According to police, explosive material was planted under a railway bridge near Saryab Road. Two people were killed and two injured as they were passing under the bridge at the time of the blast.At least 15 feet of railway track was destroyed in the blast. The explosion was so severe that it created a crater at the site while windowpanes of nearby houses were also broken. Train service was suspended due to blast.Police and railways authorities reached the spot after the blast. According to bomb disposal squad, five kilogram of explosive material was used in the blast. Quetta Express, Jaffar Express and Bolan Express were stopped outside Quetta due to blast.
