Some 17 people were shot dead and 30 were injured as violence returned to Karachi after few days.

The bloodshed started from Malir where nine people were killed and 18 were injured during a clash between two gangs.The life paralyzed in the area after the incident all shops and markets were closed.Additional Inspector General of Police Saud Mirza had claimed that police were deployed in the area and the situation was under control.As soon as the statement came from the ADIG, Landhi Number 1 area became a battle field and shots were fired at residential areas that left three people dead and seven injured.The terrorists looted more than two dozen house in the area.
