Federal govt filed application in SC seeking extension in deadline for Chairman NABs appointment.

The application was submitted by Attorney General KK Agha on behalf of the government, pleading that the hearing of judicial review in the Justice Deedar Shah case was yet underway, therefore the deadline for the appointment of the Chairman NAB be extended.According to the application, the issue of the appointment of NAB Chairman is already under process in the court.It was also prayed that the Deedar Shah case should be heard on a priority.The SC had given a month to the government for the appointment of Chairman NAB and the Prosecutor General. The deadline ends tomorrow.
