Cylinder explosion kills eight in Mashkel

CHAGI (Dunya News) - Eight people were killed in a cylinder explosion near Pak-Iran border town of Mashkel.

Confirming the blast, Assistant Commissioner Mashkel Hamza Bangalzai said that those killed in the tragic accident belonged to Qila Saifullah and Gardi Jungle.

According to eyewitnesses, the cylinder explosion was so severe that the roofs of other shops also collapsed. The blast killed at least eight people inside the shop.

Security forces and rescue teams rushed to the scene as soon as the blast was reported. Security personnel took control of the entire area in case of any threat and sealed it off, while ambulances transported the bodies and injured to hospitals.
