Opposition extends condolences to bereaved families of train collision victims

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Monday has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a train accident near Daharki that killed over 30 people.

The PML-N leader asked why the concerned authorities didn’t take any action despite presence of report regarding dilapidated condition of 13 railway tracks in Sukkur division.

He further demanded stern action against the responsible people.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has also extended condolences to the bereaved families and suggested the federation to provide compensation money to the relatives of the deceased.

On the other hand, Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Murad Ali Shah has directed the Sukkur commissioner to unite all the district administrations and use machineries to speed up the rescue process.

He also ordered to arrange food and residence for the passengers.
