PM Imran arrives in Layyah to launch health insurance scheme
LAYYAH (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Wednesday has said that he has always wanted to ensure provision of health card to every person in Punjab for free medical treatment.
Addressing a ceremony after launching health card scheme in Layyah, the premier said that Pakistan is getting developed day-by-day due to the effective policies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
The government hospitals were lacking health related facilities for the poverty-stricken people in the past, he told.
It is to be mentioned here that PM Imran is paying a day-long visit to Layyah along with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and other leaders of his party.
Under the health card scheme, 100 percent of families in DG Khan and Sahiwal would be provided health cards worth Rs720,000 per family.
The prime minister is also scheduled to perform groundbreaking of 200-bed mother and child hospital.
