RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) team that had gone to operate against illegal constructions was taken hostage and beaten by goons of influential locals.
According to sources, RDA staff went to Mouza Bagashikhan on Chak Bailey Khan Road to conduct an operation against illegal constructions where influential locals held the RDA workers and building inspector hostage for multiple hours.
An RDA spokesman later said that Rawat police recovered the RDA personnel after an operation.
