Bilawal condemns Israeli aggression despite ceasefire declaration

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned Israel’s malicious aggression on Palestinians in the Al-Aqsa Mosque even after the declaration of ceasefire.

A statement issued by Bilawal Zardari on Friday said that Israel violated the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque after Friday prayers and hurt the feelings of Muslims around the world. “Israel has slapped the civilized world in the face by attacking unarmed Palestinians celebrating the ceasefire”, he added.

Bilawal said that after the ceasefire was declared, Israeli security forces went ahead and violated international law. He urged the UN to ask Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu what the fault was of the 66 children and 39 women who have been martyred so far in the Israeli aggression.

The PPP Chairman said that the martyrdom of 243 Palestinians and the wounding of over 2,000 people as a result of the recent Israeli barbarism is a humanitarian tragedy. The Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem is a test case for the United Nations, he added.

Bilawal said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto fought the case of Palestine all over the world while Benazir Bhutto also played a courageous role by becoming the voice of the oppressed Palestinians.

“The Pakistan People’s Party, as always, is fulfilling its promise by standing with the oppressed people of Palestine”, said Bilawal.
