The National Assembly Secretariat has issued an 18-point agenda for today's session.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Assembly session will be held today (Friday) after two-day break. The National Assembly Secretariat has issued an 18-point agenda for today s session which will begin at 11:00 am at the Parliament House.

According to sources, calling attention notice regarding non-payment of Technical Allowance/Engineering Allowance to the registered Engineers who are working in Federal Government as admissible in the provinces is part of agenda.

Apart from calling attention notice on Indian atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), two amendment ordinances of Higher Education Commission will also be part of the proceedings of the House.

Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari will introduce a Bill to promote, protect and effectively ensure the independence, impartiality, safety and freedom of expression of journalists and media professionals [The Protection of Journalists and Media Professionals Bill, 2021].

Minister for Finance and Revenue to introduce a Bill further to amend the Fiscal Responsibility and Debt Limitation Act, 2005 [The Fiscal Responsibility and Debt Limitation (Amendment) Bill, 2021] during today s proceedings of the House.

Sources also said that the Pakistan Arms (Amendment) Bill, 2020 will be presented in the house for approval.
