Muslim countries should take immediate notice of the genocide of Palestinians: Interior Minister
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) –Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad on Saturday said that responsibility rests with the international community to intervene and stop the Israeli aggression against innocent and unarmed Palestinians.
In a statement, Interior Minister voiced his serious concerns over the continued violence against oppressed Palestinians.
He said the Muslim countries should take immediate notice of the genocide of Palestinians at the hands of Israeli forces.
It merits mention that at least 137 Palestinians, including 36 children, have been killed and over one thousand have been wounded since hostilities flared up on Monday.
Thousands of Palestinian families have taken shelter in United Nations-run schools in northern Gaza to escape Israeli artillery fire and relentless airstrikes.
The UN has said it estimates approximately 10,000 Palestinians have left their homes in Gaza amid the Israeli offensive.
