China wishes to expand cooperation with Pakistan: Ambassador
Nong Rong said that China values its ideal friendship with Pakistan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong on Wednesday said that Beijing wants to further expand cooperation with Pakistan.
He said this during his meeting with National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser. Matters pertaining to bilateral relations, important regional and global issues and other issues of mutual interest came under discussion during the meeting.
Nong Rong said that China values its ideal friendship with Pakistan and friendship with Pakistan is of key importance in our foreign policy.
Speaking on the occasion, NA Speaker Asad Qaiser said that Pakistan is proud of its lasting friendship with China and the unique friendly relations between Pakistan and China are an example to the world. He said the relations between the two friendly countries are based on mutual respect, trust, interests and strategic partnership.
Asad Qaiser said that the initiative of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and One Belt One Road are project of development and prosperity of the entire region and the parliament will continue to play its role to make CPEC successful.
