Transport to resume from May 15: Yasmin Rashid
Yasmin Rashid urged people to simply celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Health Minister Yasmin Rashid on Sunday announced that transport will resume from 6:00am on May 15.
Addressing a press conference, the provincial minister said that coronavirus situation has improved at places where coronavirus related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were followed and revealed that about 90,000 residents of Lahore are still under smart lockdown.
Yasmin Rashid said that coronavirus situation at hospitals is improving and patients are recovering from the disease but urged people to simply celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr and avoid large gatherings to curb spread of the virus.
She further said that frontline workers will be present even during holidays of Eid.
